Mahbubnagar: The members of Communist Party of India (CPI) from Mahbubnagar took a jibe at both the TRS and the BJP and said that both of them are having the same agenda of promoting the corporates and ignoring the poor.

While speaking to The Hans India, Paramesh Goud, CPI district secretary Mahbubnagar said, "The people of Telangana had given 16 MP seats to TRS party during the 2014 elections.

What good have they done for the State? They could not even get implementation of the promises made in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.

They utterly failed to get adequate development funds for the State, particularly the national highways, railways, tribal university etc.

Nothing has been achieved by the TRS MPs during their five year tenure.

Moreover, they had always supported the Modi government during the Goods and Services Tax bill, demonetisation bill and several others, while in return they could not even get the national tag for the Kaleshwaram and Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation projects.

With all these failures, these parties are once again shamelessly coming back to ask for votes.

They have no moral right to ask for vote."

He alleged that during the five-year rule of Modi government, it has created rifts between communities, the country's security has been put at stake, and because of the failed foreign policies, the Modi government could not even get adequate investments and had deprived the youth of their jobs.

He urged the people to dethrone the Modi government at the Centre and not to favour TRS in the State and help win the Congress candidate as the next MP of Mahbubnagar parliamentary constituency.
