Gachibowli: With an objective to strengthen women's security in the Cyberabad region, the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), in association with Cyberabad Police and Cyberabad SHE Teams, organised 'She Safe Walk' towards Radiant.

The walk was organised to convey message to the public, especially to those from other parts of the country, that Cyberabad was safest to live in for all the people, especially women in particular and they can move or commute with confidence and without fear. Another point to be highlighted was mostly the harassment against women mostly in the darker streets where there is no proper lighting is available. This walk emphasised the importance for the lighting in the streets for a better illumination and ensuring the safety of the Women.

Pullela Gopichand, PV Sindhu, actress Isha Rebba, Swathi Lakra, IG, Women Safety, V C Sajjanar, the Cyberabad Commissioner, Krishna Yedula, the General Secretary of SCSC, Bharani Kumar, the Vice-Chairman of SCSC, and Pratyusha Sharma, the Joint Secretary, SCSC Women Forum, were present.

The dignitaries started the walk by flag off and the Walk was spectacular and radiant truly showcasing the importance of Lighting for a women to walk and move freely without any fear. Gopichand said the efforts of SCSC and Cyberabad Police towards Women Safety and Empowerment were truly commendable and he praised the services of Sajjanar.

PV Sindhu in her address said that the women in Telangana were truly blessed as they were given the freedom of choosing their career and the support of the family and the government was enormous in achieving their goal. Swati Lakra said that Telangana police was always ahead in introducing innovative ways for ensuring the Safety and Security of the Women.

Sajjanar said that SCSC and Cyberabad She Teams were putting their best to ensure the utmost safety and security of the women and children. Krishna Yedula said SCSC was conducting regular awareness sessions for wWomen empowerment and safety. Cyberabad Women and Child Safety Wing DCP Anasuya said that, they had been taking every measure to ensure the safety of the Women and because of which the Cyberabad has become the most safe IT Corridor in India.
