Depression drives teenage girl to commit suicide in Hyderabad
A teenage girl who slipped into depression over the fear of losing a chance to join the army committed suicide by hanging herself on Wednesday.
A teenage girl who slipped into depression over the fear of losing a chance to join the army committed suicide by hanging herself on Wednesday.
Jayalakshmi who dreamed of joining the army was preparing for the exams as well as practising for the physical tests for the past three months. Meanwhile, she was caught using a mobile phone in the classroom by the lecturer who sent her to the principal. The principal then called up her parents and asked to take her home for being negligent in the classroom.
Depressed of her unfulfilled dream, Jayalakshmi went to her room and hanged herself from the ceiling. He wrote a note to her younger brother asking him to join in the army.
The police registered a case and launched an investigation. Jayalakshmi was pursuing Intermediate second year from Sri Chaitanya College, Balapur.
