Doctors told to create awareness about seasonal diseases in Khammam
District Medical and Health Officer Dr Kalavathi Bai has inspected the Government Hospital in Khammam town on Thursday.
Khammam: District Medical and Health Officer Dr Kalavathi Bai has inspected the Government Hospital in Khammam town on Thursday. During her visit, she visited various wards and guest rooms and interacted with the patients.
She examined the sanitation works and also the operation theatre. She enquired about the facilities provided at the hospital with the patients, and directed the duty doctors and the staff to treat the patients in a friendly manner. She also directed the staff to create awareness among patients about the seasonal diseases and ways to prevent them.
The DMHO stated that sanitation staff should maintain cleanliness inside and outside the hospital and its premises. Hospital Superintendent Venkateswara Rao and doctors were present during the official's visit.
