Fake baba rapes teen on pretext of driving away evil eye, held in Hyderabad

A fake baba who raped teen on the pretext of driving away evil eye has been held by the SR Nagar police on Monday.
According to the police, the 19-year-old girl's family met the baba Azam 20 days ago at Mallepalli. The baba threatened saying they have evil spirits in their house that needed to be chased away.
He then took the family to a dargah in Bidar district of Karnataka to get away the evil from their house where he raped the girl and threatened to marry her.
On June 11, the accused went to the girl's home at Borabanda and raped her when her parents went out.
Based on the complaint registered by the girl, the SR Nagar police arrested the accused.
