Fearing of his defeat in MPTC elections, a Congress leader committed suicide on Thursday here at Rotary Nagar in Nizamabad.
Dasari Ganesh, a native of Thalla Ramadugu of Sirkonda mandal has contested from Congress party in MPTC elections. Meanwhile, a rumour of his defeat is being spread among the political circles which depressed Ganesh.
The depression drove him to commit suicide. A case was registered by the police.
