Govt. teacher commits suicide in Jagtial

Depressed over being thrashed by locals for misbehaving with a girl student, a government teacher committed suicide in Korutla of Jagtial district on Sunday night.

Venkata Ramana Sharma has harassed a student to bring the project from home and misbehaved with her. The parents of the girl noticed the teacher misbehaving their daughter and thrashed him.

Since then Sharma was depressed and hanged himself from the ceiling. The police registered a case and are investigating.
