Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Monday caught an Office Subordinate, who is also Incharge Licence Sub-Inspector of Mailardevpally Circle -11, of GHMC red handed while accepting bribe.
According to the ACB, S Jagadishwar demanded a bribe amount of Rs 9,000 from complainant Mohammed Ather, Manager of Naiger Function Palace in Rajendranagar in order to not to cancel the licence and not increase the Trade Licence fee from Rs 50,000 to Rs 2 lakh.
The officials caught him red handed at 12.10 pm at his office while accepting the bribe. He was arrested and produced before the Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases.
