Finance Minister T Harish Rao said the double-bedroom houses provided by the State government is a pride for the poor. He participated in the housewarming ceremony of double bedroom houses at Buddipadaga Madira Thanda in Nangunuru mandal on Wednesday and gave away documents to the beneficiaries.

Later, speaking in the public meeting, he said CM KCR vowed that the poor should live with pride and that was why he was providing double bedroom houses for them. He also said the nowhere such kind of schemes were being implemented.
"We are providing the houses with all amenities without charging anything from the beneficiaries. The people of Buddipadaga Thanda, who lived in thatched huts till now, will live with pride in these houses".
The minister said. Siddipet market committee former chairman Vemula Venkatreddy, ZPTC T Uma Venkatreddy, former MPP J Srikanth Reddy, Somireddy, K Ramesh Goud and others were present.
