In a blast to Telangana government, the High Court on Monday ordered not to demolish buildings at Erramanzil for the construction of new assembly

Dealing with the petitions filed against the demolition of buildings at Erramanzil, the court said that it will make no sense to demolish the historic buildings for the assembly building. It also agreed to public money being misused for it.

Stating the decision of cabinet does not come under the law, the court directed the government not to demolish the buildings.

The chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has laid the foundation stone for the assembly construction in 16 acres at Erramanzil on June 27.
