Hyderabad: Hyderabad Management Association (HMA) instituted a new award this year for recognising outstanding academicians through its "Academician Excellence Award." B Raja Shekar, Pro Vice-Chancellor in the School of Management Studies, UoH is chosen for it.

His achievements include being a member of the TSPSC committee for formulation of scheme and syllabus; launching MBA in Business Analytics; appointed as one of the members of expert committee constituted by UGC to draft 'Learning Outcomes Based Curriculum Framework for Management;' authored and edited books related to supply chain management and quality management, published 52 research papers and contributed papers in conference proceedings.
