Hyderabad: BJP K Krishna Saagar Rao takes a dig at KCR for TRS opposing Citizenship Amendment Bill
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State unit chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao on Tuesday demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao explain to the people of Telangana, why his party has opposed and voted against the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 adopted in the Lok Sabha.
Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State unit chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao on Tuesday demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao explain to the people of Telangana, why his party has opposed and voted against the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 adopted in the Lok Sabha.
K Chandrashekar Rao and his party TRS was trying to block Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 in Rajya Sabha too. "It is a historic bill, which provides lifeline for lakhs of Hindu refugees and can save their families from forced religious conversion, violence and oppression in the above 3 Islamic nations and grant them citizenship protection in India," he said.
In fact, the BJP believes that K Chandrashekar Rao has no sincerity to neither his religion nor to others and his agenda is solely electoral appeasement. The BJP considers the TRS as a B-Team of AIMIM and Congress party in the State, Rao alleged. K Chandrashekar Rao was a political puppet in the hands of MIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi and his electorate.
