Hyderabad: BJP Telangana is all set to launch its agitation against the excess power bills calling its cadre for state-wide dharna from Monday.
In a statement here on Sunday, party State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said his party would continue the agitation until the government rolls back the excess charges levied on the consumers.
He warned the State government not to make the poor to shoulder more burden with the excessive power bills and stop its unreasonable policies. He said that the State party core committee members will participate in a protest before the Vidyut Soudha at 11am on Monday.
Similarly, the District party presidents and BJP district core committee members will participate in the protests at the district level, he added.
He asked the party leaders to stage the protests strictly following the lockdown norms and appealed to the party cadre not to participate in the protests.
