Madhapur: Cyberabad Police Commissioner V S Sajjanar on Tuesday advised the candidates appearing for the Intermediate examinations starting on March 4 to approach with confidence while making sure to observe time schedule.

In a press release, the CP listed do's and don'ts to be observed by the students like locating the exam centre in advance, so as to avoid wastage of time, and tension. He advised them to reach the exam centre an hour ahead of the scheduled time, to carry hall-tickets, pens, pencils, pads, without fail and not to avoid sleep a day before the exam, as it is necessary to grasp what is read.

"Otherwise, there is a danger of falling asleep during the exam. Loss of sleep will have an adverse effect on memory. It is necessary to wash eyes with cold to avoid stress. It is also necessary to consume nutritious food and light items, which are easy to digest, during the preceding night and avoid heavy intake and avoid junk food," he implored the youngsters thus.

Sajjanar also advised parents of candidates to encourage them to do exercises along with meditation, take care not to compare them with others, to provide a peaceful study atmosphere and avoid watching high pitch TV programmes, besides ensuring provision of timely food and sleep.
