Hyderabad: Telangana natives returning to Hyderabad as part of Vande Bharat Mission are also testing positive. Freshly, four persons who returned from Kuwait were found to be infected with the deadly virus. This apart 15 migrants who returned from Maharashtra also tested positive. They were among the 52 fresh cases that were detected on Saturday. GHMC area as usual contributed the highest fresh cases (33) on Saturday. One person died while 25 patients were also discharged.

Gandhi worker infected

An outsourcing employee from Gandhi Hospital tested Covid positive. He is said to be the first healthcare worker who has been infected with virus. According to the Health department analysis, it was found that majority of the migrants who tested positive hailed from three districts-Yadadri, Jagtial and Mancherial districts. Of the 119 infected migrants, 35 are from Yadadri, 30 are from Jagtial and 23 from Mancherial while other districts-Nalgonda, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, Sircilla, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Bhupalpally contributed single digit numbers.
