A GHMC tax inspector of circle -18, Jubilee Hills has been arrested on Friday for taking bribe. The tax inspector, Jagan demanded Rs 75,000 bribe from a retired army major for his house mutation.
The army major who did not want to bribe the inspector informed the officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau who laid a trap and caught the inspector red-handed.
On January 9, 2020 - the tax inspector of GHMC circle 21 Serilingampally has been arrested along with his assistant for accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000. The tax inspector Yadayya demanded the bribe of Rs 15,000 for reducing the property tax assessment of a complainant.
