The State government has effected transfers and postings of certain Additional/zonal commissioners of GHMC (among others) and accordingly the respective officers have been relieved from GHMC with immediate effect.

Hyderabad: The State government has effected transfers and postings of certain Additional/zonal commissioners of GHMC (among others) and accordingly the respective officers have been relieved from GHMC with immediate effect.

GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar said that the postings/transfers were effected as per the discussions held on Wednesday in the chambers of the Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development KT Rama Rao.

The following transfers and postings are made with immediate effect in the interest of administration. N Ravi Kiran, Additional Director, MA&UD, is posted as Zonal Commissioner (Serilingampally Zone), GHMC; Upender Reddy, Additional Commissioner (Sanitation & Transport), GHMC; is posted as Zonal Commissioner (LB Nagar zone); P Pravinya is posted as Zonal Commissioner, Khairtabad Zone; Priyanka Ala is posted as Additional Commissioner (Revenue, Legal & Trade License); Rahul Raj PS is posted as Additional Commissioner (Sanitation, C&D Waste Management, Entomology, Veterinary); GHMC. Badhavath Santhosh is posted as Additional Commissioner (Health, Registration of Births & Deaths, Annapurna Mid-Day Meals, Basti Dhavakhanas & Construction of New Public Toilets).

Viswajit Kampati, Director EV&DM has also entrusted the subjects of Transport, Advertisement & Protection of Lakes), GHMC in addition to his original duties.

J Shankaraiah, Additional Commissioner, (Electrical), is also entrusted the subject of Urban Community Development in addition to his original duties.

Jayaraj Kennedy, Additional Commissioner (Finance & Elections), is assigned the subjects of Information Technology & CSR in addition to his original duties. V Krishna, Director, Urban Forestry, will also look after the subject of Urban Bio Diversity until further orders.
