Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police on Monday arrested one T Chiranjeevi (32) for throwing stones at a vernacular TV news channel office.
According to police, the person is a resident of Krishna Nagar and a native of Srikakulam.
On Friday night he consumed liquor heavily and upon reaching near the TV channel office, he hurled abuses at the security guards and when they tried to shoo him away, he grabbed the stones and hurled at the office.
Due to which the window panes of the security office were broken. However, he was arrested from his residence after investigation and was remanded to judicial custody.
He also did not have any political affiliations, said the police.
