Metro rains will run till 1 am at night to carry the people home safe after the watching the final match of Indian Premier League (IPL) which is scheduled at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium today.
Expecting heavy rush for the final, additional trains have been deployed and are made to run till late night, said Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) managing director NVS Reddy.
Heavy security has been deployed at Ramanthapur, Habsiguda, Nagole and Kacheguda as more footfall is expected at these metro stations to reach the stadium.
Traffic restrictions are also imposed at LG Godown from Ramanthapur road and at Ek Minar from Habsiguda towards the stadium.
