Hyderabad: The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) condemning the growing incidents of brutal killings of Hindu Sadhus in different parts of the country has demanded a thorough probe to bring perpetrators of these incidents to justice. In a statement here on Monday, HJS, coordinator, Chetan Gadi said the growing incidents of brutal killings of Hindu sadhus shows devilish designs hatched to perpetrate heinous crimes of brutal killings against the Hindu seers.

Appealing to the Hindus to do everything possible to mount pressure on the governments to end reoccurrence of such incident, he said, "the perpetrators of these crimes seem not bothered about the governments and the laws of the land. Governments should bring a stringent law to deal which, such people, to prevent such incidents," he added.

Chetan Gade said Maharashtra is known as the land of sadhus and yogis. But Hindu seers were beaten to death in Palghar. The latest incident of the brutal killing of Shivacharya Rudra Pashupati Maharaj and his assistant in Nanded shows the continuity of a conspiracy.

Earlier, "leaders and workers of Hindutva have been targeted and killed brutally in different states across the country. Now, similar, modus operandi is being hatched against peaceful Hindu Sadhus," he alleged.

After Bulandshaher, a similar attempt in Hoshiarpur in Punjab shows a dangerous trend of killing peaceful Hindu seers who have relinquished everything in their lives show some spiritual direction to people in the society, he revealed.

The HJS demanded a comprehensive and thorough probe to unearth the conspiracy and those responsible behind all such incidents and bring them to justice, he said. The HJS called the communists and those claiming to be progressive forces, rationalists and Award-Wapasi groups adopting double standards. "If any Muslim is killed, then they raise the bogey of mob lynching and take to streets.

But, they go numb and their voices are paralysed on the brutal killings of Hindu seers" The HJS condemned these pseudo-progressive forces and asked Hindus to unite to prevent such attacks reoccurring in the country.
