Hyderabad: RMP doctor treats corona patient at clinic, booked
An RMP doctor was booked by Chanda Nagar police for treating a corona patient at his clinic in Serlingampally
Hyderabad: An RMP doctor was booked by Chanda Nagar police for treating a corona patient at his clinic in Serlingampally. The issue came to light when the clinic's neighbor complained police about the doctor treating the corona patient.
According to police, they received an anonymous call from the clinic's neighbor who mentioned that the doctor has treated a corona patient because the patient was later admitted to Gandhi hospital for further treatment.
B Ravinder, Inspector of Chandanagar said, "Upon receiving the information, we visited the clinic and enquired the doctor about the issue to which he confronted of giving medicines to the corona patient.
He was then sent to the Gandhi Hospital. The doctor's clinic and medical shop were later sealed." Relevant cases have been booked against the RMP doctor under Disaster Management Act of 2005 and Epidemics Act 1897 for violating the law.
