Samples of five China returned persons who were admitted in Fever Hospital were sent to NIV, Pune on Wednesday. The reports are expected on Thursday evening. Meanwhile, no new admission was reported in either Fever or Gandhi Hospitals on Wednesday.

Also, of the five people, who voluntarily got admitted in the Fever Hospital two days after developing mild fever and cough, two were allowed to go home as they assured of coming back once reports come out. Meanwhile, the government appointed a nodal officer, Dr Vijay Kumar, who would be co-ordinating with the Centre on behalf of the State to share all information regarding coronavirus. He would also be co-ordinating with the three government hospitals that have been finalised for treatment of coronavirus related cases.
