Imlibun: Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maratha Navyuvak Mandal will be organising 'Shobha Yatra' from Puranapul Shiv Dwar to Salarjung bridge (Shivaji Bridge) to mark Shivaji Maharaj Jayanthi on February 19. Mandal president Madan Jadhav and city president Monish Ghadge said that the shobha yatra would start from Puranapul Shiv Dwar at 11 am.
The Shobha Yatra would be flagged off by TRS leaders C Krishna Yadav, Prem Singh Rathore and other leaders after performing Bhavani Pooja. The yatra would pass through Jummerat Bazar, Chudi Bazar, Begum Bazar, Mukhtyar Gunj, Gowliguda and culminate at Chatrapati Shivaji statue at Shivaji Bridge in Imlibun. A dharma sabha would be organised at Shivaji statue at 4 PM. Madan Jadhav said that the Telangana State Planning Board VC B Vinod Kumar would be the chief guest at the meeting. The MLA of Nilanga in Maharashtra, Sambhaji Patil, and former MLA Prem Singh Rathore would also grace the event. Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maratha Bhagini Mandal, Telangana Gold and Silver Refineries, Telangana Warkari Bhajan Mandal would be jointly organising a cultural programme with 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' theme. The Hirkarini Award winner from Osmanabad in Maharashtra, Ranjana Tai, would be speaking on history of marathas.
