Hyderabad: Tellapur municipal income to touch 21.84 crore

Tellapur: The Tellapur Municipality on Tuesday at its budget meeting estimated its income for the financial year 2020-21 at Rs 2184.36 lakh, including the surplus of Rs 395.6 lakh. The tax revenue has been put at Rs 450.36 lakh, stamp duty income at Rs 600 lakh. The non-tax income is estimated to be Rs 738.4 lakh.
In the estimates, the employees salaries expenditure is shown as Rs.225 lakh, the cost of sanitation is Rs.202.5 lakh, electricity bill Rs.305.5 lakh, loan installment payment Rs.25 lakh. The Haritha Haram has been allocated Rs.178.87 lakh. An amount of Rs.472.3 lakh as been set apart as working expenses.
The expenditure for creating basic facilities in slum improvement is estimated at Rs 126.53 lakh. An amount of Rs 308 lakh has been set apart for parks, development of graveyards, public toilets, markets, construction of slaughter houses and dump yards. An amount of Rs 273 lakh is to be spent for development works in wards. A surplus of Rs 67.66 lakh has been shown after accounting for various expenses. The municipality expects funds of Rs.531.94 lakh from both the State and the Central governments.
