Irregularities alleged in police recruitment
National BC Welfare Association president R Krishnaiah, along with unemployed constable candidates, has demanded the government to take steps to prevent irregularities in police constable recruitments.
Basheerbagh: National BC Welfare Association president R Krishnaiah, along with unemployed constable candidates, has demanded the government to take steps to prevent irregularities in police constable recruitments.
Speaking to the media persons here on Monday, he said that injustice has been done to some of the eligible and efficient candidates because of the implementation of elimination process, without providing adequate facilities to them.
Such candidates should be given another chance, Krishnaiah demanded. Otherwise, he warned of staging an agitation.
The BC leader wanted separate notifications to be issued for the class IV recruitments.
He contended that conducting only one physical fitness test for all posts is "illegal," as those declared ineligible would lose the chance to compete in other events.
Krishnaiah described the recruitment process "unjust."
He said that the process doesn't have proper standards in running events, such as making 40 to 50 candidates to run at a time would result in pushing and unlucky candidates losing an opportunity to win within seconds.
He also alleged gender discrimination in Nano selections and pleaded for equal opportunity for all in the Mathematics round.
