Bhadrachalam: The Jyeshtamasa Utsavalu have begun on a colourful note at Lord Rama temple in Bhadrachalam on Monday. On the day, a special Abhishekam was conducted by the priests to festive deities of the Lord and his consort at the Beda Mandapam.
In early hours of the day, a special Abhishekam was conducted to the main idols of the Lord Rama, his consort Sita and Laxmana Swamy in the temple. A large number of devotees attended the programme and offered prayers.
Due to Jyeshtamasa celebrations, the temple officials suspended the celestial wedding programme. Meanwhile, the temple officials made special arrangements for the Utsavalu.
