The Ramgopalpet police on Friday traced the five-year-old girl, Fatima, who was kidnapped by one Saleem on Monday at Nallagutta.

Fatima's parents Raju and Hajira earn their livelihood by seeking alms. On Sunday, Raju took her daughter to a hospital as she was ill and went to Secunderabad railway station to seek alms.

Later, he stayed back at the station on Monday as it was Bakrid where he met the accused Saleem. Raju went to seek alms and handed over Fatima to Saleem and asked him to care of her as she was suffering from fever.

A few hours after Raju returned, he found Saleem and his daughter were missing. He then approached Ramgopalpet police station on Tuesday, who registered a case and traced the girl and the accused at Kishanbagh based on the CCTV footage.
