Bhongir: Former minister and Congress candidate from Bhongir Lok Sabha seat Komatireddy Venkat Reddy stated on Friday that Prime Minister's post is not a farmhouse manager's post.

Venkat Reddy along with his brother and Munugodu MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy filed his first set of nominations at the district Collectorate.

Later addressing the media, he called upon people of the State to defeat TRS in the upcoming Parliament elections to release the State from the clutches of KCR family.

Stating that casting of votes to TRS is nothing but voting to the BJP, he said that every time KCR comes with new promises to woo the voters and ignores the development of the State. KCR has been spending his time on Operation Akarsh to eliminate the Opposition parties in the State.

Congress will not die in the State by purchasing party MLAs, he underlined.

He challenged KCR and KTR that he is ready to take political retirement if Congress fails to win more seats in the State in the Lok Sabha elections slated to be held on April 11.

He assured people of development of Bhongir MP constituency in all aspects if elected as MP.

It is bounden duty of every citizen of the State to show gratitude to Sonia Gandhi who carved Telangana State by electing congress candidates in Parliament elections, he said.

Munugodu MLA K Rajgopal Reddy stated that people of erstwhile Nalgonda district know very well about the character of Komatireddy brothers and commitment towards the development of the district.

Bhongir sitting MP Dr Bhoora Narsiah Goud had spent most of his time for his profession to earn money by doing operations and CM KCR is doing politics with kickbacks money from the irrigation projects, they added.

In this press meet, DCC president Budida Bixamaiah Goud, Congress Bhongir in charge Kumbam Anil Kumar and others participated.
