Hyderabad: The road passing through the Lake view guest house at Raj Bhavan road in Somajiguda was flooded on Saturday after a Krishna water pipeline cracked and spewed huge quantities of water.
Though the GHMC officials were alerted about the issue, no initiative was made to repair the pipeline and control the flow of water. However, a team rushed to the spot and opened the manholes driving the water into it.
They also put up barricades at the area to prevent any untoward incidents from occurring.
