In what may be termed as a kind gesture by the TRS working president KT Rama Rao who came to the rescue of a five-year-old girl suffering from blood cancer.

Laxmi Prasanna, daughter of an auto-rickshaw driver Thirupathi was diagnosed with blood cancer two months ago and was admitted to a private hospital. Boda Sathish, the TRS leader of Mancherial brought the straits of Thirupathi to the notice of KTR who assured to meet the medical expenses of the girl which are estimated to be of Rs 13-15 lakh.

Thirupathi, a native of Madaram in Thandur village said that KTR's assurance brought great relief to his family. He said he also received a phone call from the office regarding the help.

He further continued that his daughter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and is undergoing chemotherapy at a private hospital.
