Hyderabad: Former Minister and Congress leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy has given his consent for relocating the statue of former Chief Minister Marri Chenna Reddy at Nagarjuna Circle in the city.
The GHMC authorities are planning to relocate the statue of Chenna Reddy at Nagarjuna circle as part of junction improvement at the circle. The GHMC is constructing a steel bridge at Nagarjuna circle-Panjagutta which would be over a grave yard for easing out traffic problems faced by motorists.
Mayor B Rammohan along with Shashidhar Reddy visited the site and the Congress leader has reportedly agreed for relocation of the statue of his father.
