Medak: CM Special Secretary Bhoopal Reddy, Principal Secretary (forest department) Rajeshwar Tiwari, PCCF R Shoba, Arun Dobriyal, Haritha Haram OSD Priyanka Vargese, and Secretary in CMO, Narsing Rao visited Pocharam Reserve Forest on Thursday.
Rao informed that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was striving to improve the forest cover. He called upon the officials concerned to take necessary steps to protect forests.
The reserve forest looks splendid. Encroachers will not be spared. Solar power should be used to provide drinking water for animals in the forest," he added.
CF Sravanan, DFO Padmaja Rani, Medak RDO Sai Ram and other officials were present.
