Attender of MRO Vijaya Reddy who suffered serious burns while trying to rescue the officer has succumbed to the injuries on Monday here at Apollo DRDO hospital.
The family members alleged that the hospital authorities did not provide proper treatment to Chandraiah and shifted his body to Osmania General hospital without informing them. Chandraiah's relatives demanded justice for his family.
Chandraiah and car driver Gurunath suffered burn injuries when a farmer set the MRO Vijaya afire. Gurunath died a day after the incident and the accused Suresh who was also caught in the fire was dead at Apollo DRDO hospital on November 7.
A total of four members including Vijaya Reddy succumbed to the burns in the incident.
