Gadwal: Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) president Manda Krishna Madiga visited Jogulamba Gadwal district on Wednesday and expressed solidarity with the striking TSRTC employees. The RTC strike entered day 40th on Wednesday.

While speaking on the occasion, the MRPS president said that in spite of the RTC employees and their families coming on roads and literally facing tough time, the TRS government had not even taken any kind of pro-active steps to resolve the issue. On top of it, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was issuing ultimatums to the RTC employees and declaring them self-dismissed.

The RTC employees and their families were undergoing psychological and financial stress for the past 2 months and did not even celebrate Dasara and Diwali festivals. Moreover, many RTC employees have also committed suicide because of the adamant and insensitive attitude of the government. "We are demanding that the Chief Minister immediately address the issues of the RTC employees or else this movement would snowball into a huge movement," MRPS president said.
