Nalgonda: Fishlings released into Pedda Cheruvu, Vura Cheruvu

Nalgonda/Bhongir: Nalgonda Zilla Parishad Chairman Banda Narender Reddy stated that State government was taking all measures for the welfare of all sections of the society.
On Friday, along with District Collector Gaurav Uppal and Nakrekal legislator Chirumarthi Lingaiah, he released as many as 1.80 lakh fish seedlings into Pedda Cheruvu of Akkenepally village of Narketpally mandal in the district.
District Collector Gaurav Uppal informed that a comprehensive plan was designed to help fishermen in the district and added that as part of the programme, as many as 5.50 crore fish seedlings were distributed to fishermen cooperative societies for the welfare of fishermen.
Similarly, in Yadadri-Bhongir district, Zilla Parishad Chairman Alimineti Sandeep Reddy along with District Collector Anita Ramachandran released fish seedlings at Vura Cheruvu of Surepally village of Bhongir mandal.
Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Reddy explained the State government's welfare schemes to revive caste-based professions in the State.
