Nearly 10k traffic violation cases booked in four days

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Traffic Police booked as many as 9,864 cases of traffic violations during the special drive between Friday night and Monday in the city.
Special focus was kept on the violators moving on the city roads without registration number plate, creating sound pollution by modifying silencers and horns, dangerous driving and racing stunts in the night time.
Marredpally traffic police while conducting enforcement at Tivoli Cross Roads caught one suspect Mohammed Aziz for having contacts with eight chain snatchers. He was handed over to Begumpet police for further investigation.
In another instance, Nallakunta Traffic police while conducting enforcement at Tarnaka Street caught one bike and on verification it came to know that it was a stolen vehicle and the rider was minor and using fake number plate.
