Village Secretaries should collect 100 percent house tax before March 31, District Collector Musharraf Ali Farooqui directed the officials concerned while speaking at a review meeting at the Collector’s conference hall in Nirmal on Monday.

He informed that the forest officials gave permission for constructing 26 graveyards out of the total 58 in Nirmal district till date and the MPDOs have to identify land for constructing the remaining 32 graveyards.
396 gram panchayats have to fill polythene bags and 85 percent saplings that were planted under Haritha Haram programme should be protected. The Collector told the officials to focus on water harvesting pits in every gram panchayat and to collect 100 percent tax before March 31.
Additional Collector Bhaskar Rao, Rural Development Officer Venkateswarlu, ZP CEO Sudheer, Electricity SE Chowhan, DPO Srinivas and others were present.
