The officials of Nagarjunasagar withdraw their decision of open of project crest gates due to receding of flood flow from Srisailam dam from Wednesday midnight. According to the official sources , inflows to Sagar dam was recorded as 50495 cusecs and same amount of water has been releasing to downstream through various canals associated with dam on left and right sides and through pump house .
Present water levels in Sagar is 309.95 TMC at 589.30 feet against Full tank level of 312 TMC at 590 feet.
