PD Act invoked against rowdy sheeter
Anjani Kumar, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner issued Preventive Detention orders against Mohammed Shah Noor Gazi alias Iffu, a rowdy sheeter of Kalapathar Police Station.

According to police officials, Gazi, aged about 22 years, is a tailor by profession and is a resident of Basharath Nagar, Kalapathar.
A rowdy sheeter under Kalapathar Police Station limits has criminal cases like murders and attempt to murders registered in the limits of Hyderabad and Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
The accused has committed three offences in the recent past and has been creating large scale fear, terror and panic among the general public, thereby adversely affecting the public order, apart from disturbing the peace, tranquillity and social harmony in the society.
"Hussainialam police made strenuous efforts and arrested the accused Gazi under sections 147, 148, 302, 307, 201, 202 r/w 149 of IPC and Sec 25 (1) (A) of Arms Act of Hussainialam Police Station and remanded him to judicial custody. He was released from jail on bail on September 16. After his release, he again committed 2 more offences under Mailardevpally Police Station. He was arrested on November 16 under sections 302, 307,147r/w 149 IPC. The Preventive Detention Order was executed on him on March 2 and he has been lodged in Central Prison, Chanchalguda," informed police officials.
