Hyderabad: The Pedda Amberpet Municipal authorities imposed penalties on ten shop owners for not wearing masks.

The Sanitation wing in-charge inspector Hanuman Prasad said that about ten shop owners were penalised for selling products without wearing masks. The shops which were penalised include Balaji Kirana Shop, Balaji Sweet House. The owners were penalised Rs 1000 each under the Disaster Management Act.

The official said that they would implement this rule strictly and impose penalties to the individuals not wearing masks. The official suggested people venture out with a mask.
