Police seize 12 vehicles in cordon and search operation in Adilabad
As many as 12 vehicles seized for verification during the cordon and search operation conducted at Chilkuri Laxminagar in Adilabad district on Tuesday morning.
Adilabad: As many as 12 vehicles seized for verification during the cordon and search operation conducted at Chilkuri Laxminagar in Adilabad district on Tuesday morning.
Around 60 police personnel including 10 women constables took part in the cordon and search operation, in presence of Superintendent of Police Vishnu S Warier seized vehicles. Speaking on the occasion he said that police in the district town and different mandals, villages with support of local have arranged 600 CCTV cameras to control the crime rate. Seeing the cameras criminals are stepping back to attempt crimes. People on their own inviting cordon and search operations in their areas to prevent anti social activities and to control crime, he added.
He asked the people to dial 100 if they found anything suspicious in their surroundings and the informers name will be kept secret. Vehicles which were seized in the cordon and search operations will be given back to its owners after showing proper documents, he added.
He also warned that serious actions will be taken on those who disturb peace in society.
