Mancherial: Police seized 8 quintals of Public Distribution scheme PDS Rice worth Rs.5000, two auto rickshaws and detained two persons at Bheemaram mandal in Mancherial district on Wednesday.

According to the Bheemaram Sub-Inspector Kiran Kumar in regular vehicle vehicle checking police found PDS rice bags carrying in two auto rickshaws seized the vehicle and detained two persons for illegally transporting the rice bags and handed over it to concerned revenue officers .

Head constable Ravinder, constable Ravi, Home guard Santosh were present.
