The Met bulletin said on Sunday that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few places in the State from October 14 to 17. No large change during the period October 18-20 is the weather outlook.

The bulletin warned of heavy rain very likely occur on October 17 at isolated places in Telangana along with thunderstorm and lightning because of an upper air cyclonic circulation lying over the north coastal Andhra and its neighborhood.
As the southwest monsoon has been normal over Telangana during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Sunday, rain occurred at isolated places in Rangareddy, Sangareddy and Siddipet districts, the Met department bulletin said.
While Hayathnagar in Ranga Reddy district recorded 6 cm of rainfall there was 5 cm in Yacharam. Raikode and Nayakal in Sangareddy districts received 4 and 2 cm respectively. There was one cm rain each in Gajwel (Siddipet), Maheswaram,
Maheswaram, Saroornagar (all in RR), Toopran(Medak), Bejjanki, Wargal (both Siddipet).
