Retired RDO stages sit-in with sons seeking new land passbooks
Expressing angst over official apathy in issuing pattadar passbooks to his family members, a retired Revenue Divisional Officer, Basheeruddin, along with his sons staged a sit in at the RDO office in Nalgonda on Thursday.
Nalgonda: Expressing angst over official apathy in issuing pattadar passbooks to his family members, a retired Revenue Divisional Officer, Basheeruddin, along with his sons staged a sit in at the RDO office in Nalgonda on Thursday.
Speaking to the media, Basheeruddin informed that he had purchased 20 acres of agriculture land under Telakantigudem gram panchayat of Kangal mandal in the district and had old pattadar passbooks. He alleged that even after repeated appeals, the officials concerned were not issuing new pattadar passbooks to his sons Masiuddin and Ziauddin due to which they were unable to get government's financial aid under Rythu Bandhu scheme and crop loans from banks.
He demanded the revenue officials to issue new passbooks to his sons immediately.
