The body of an agriculture officer, Aruna who jumped into Manjira River at Manur has recovered after four days. The police and NDRF team launched rescue measures when local villagers found the car of Aruna on the bridge of the river. However, they traced the body four days after the incident.

Aruna, a native of Paidipalli of Narayankhed mandal was working as an agriculture officer at the farmer training centre in Sangareddy. She was married to Siva Kumar, a native of Morgi village of Nagalgidda four years ago and the couple has two sons. The family was residing in Sangareddy town.

On Thursday, Aruna left the office at noon and reached the river bridge at Manur mandal. She then called up her husband saying that she was committing suicide and hung up. Siva Kumar rushed to place and saw her car, mobile phone and other belongings.

According to her colleagues, Aruna is said to have been depressed for the last three months and the reason was unknown. The police took up the investigation and registered a case.
