Telugu Civil Servants Association in the partnership with Telangana Recognised Managements Association organised an interactive session ‘Greet the Great -2019’ on Saturday for 2,500 school students belonging to 30 different schools at Abdullapurmet.

Hyderabad: Telugu Civil Servants Association in the partnership with Telangana Recognised Managements Association organised an interactive session 'Greet the Great -2019' on Saturday for 2,500 school students belonging to 30 different schools at Abdullapurmet.

Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Mahesh M Bhagwat attended the programme and motivated and suggested the school students to opt Civil Services as career option.

He advised students to concentrate on studies till inter and apart from doing graduation focus on civil services preparation. He also advised students on inculcate writing practice and broadening vision while studying along with extracurricular activities.

Many IAS rank holders including Abdul Shahid and Monica Kishor who cleared the UPSC exams last year and those who are currently preparing for the exams were present during the interactive session. The speakers educated the students on the importance of civil services as a career option.

AIR 57 Abdul Shahid, AIR 42 of IFS (Forest) Monica Kishore and other 7 rank holders inspired students on civil services as a career option.

Sadhu Narasimha Reddy, IRS, Addl Commissioner of GST, Vishakhapatnam, N Balaram, IRS, Director of Finance, Singareni Collieries, Jagan Mohan Reddy, TRSMA Chairman, President Gopal Reddy and others attended the programme.
