Warangal: The School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education (SDLCE), Kakatiya University, on Friday released admission notification for BA/B Com (General and Computer) degree courses for the academic year 2019-20.

Speaking to media persons here, SDLCE Director Prof Guguloth Veeranna said that the eligibility test (for candidates without educational qualifications) for direct admission into BA/B Com (General and Computers) year-wise course would be held on June 23, 2019 from 11 am to 1pm.

He said that the candidates, who have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination, can get direct admission to degree courses, or else they have to qualify the entrance test. Those, who are qualified in the eligibility tests conducted by SDLCE between 2016 and 2019, can also get direct admission to degree courses.

"For the first time, the SDLCE is offering online registration for the benefit of candidates. However, the candidates can also fill their application form offline after downloading it from the official website," Prof Veeranna said. The candidates can also obtain application forms from the SDLCE or any authorised study centre, he added. The candidates those who don't have SSC/school discontinue certificate will have to submit their date of birth certificate obtained from their respective gram panchayats or municipalities. As per the guidelines of the UGC, the affidavit for date of birth will not be accepted, the Director said. The sale of application forms and download from the official website www.sdlceku.co.in will commence from April 29. The last date for submission of applications is June 3. With a late of Rs 200 the candidates could register their applications up to June 13; with a late of Rs 500 up to June 20.
