GHMC officials have announced that Secunderabad - Lalapet flyover repair works that are going on for the last six months will be completed by December.
Hyderabad: GHMC officials have announced that Secunderabad - Lalapet flyover repair works that are going on for the last six months will be completed by December.
This flyover has been constructed in 1990 and badly damaged by the heavy traffic on this route. With this, the GHMC has started the repair works. Earlier, the city mayor and GHMC officials said that the bridge will be back to the operations by August, but got delayed due to unfinished works.
With the delay of the works, the commuters from ECIL, Moula-Ali, AS Rao Nager, Sainikpuri areas are facing difficulties and need to take a long route to reach Tarnaka. Over this, some citizens have taken the issue to GHMC officials through a microblogging site, which was responded by GHMC engineering officials, where they replayed that by the end of December the flyover repair works will be completed.
