Smita Sabharwal inspects Sita Rama Lift Irrigation Project works in Kothagudem
Secretary in Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) Smita Sabharwal expressed angst over the tardy pace of Sita Rama Lift Irrigation Project works. On Friday, Sabharwal along with the engineers concerned and District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini visited the BG Kotthuru village and Nagaram villages where the construction works are going on.
Kothagudem: Secretary in Chief Minister's Office (CMO) Smita Sabharwal expressed angst over the tardy pace of Sita Rama Lift Irrigation Project works. On Friday, Sabharwal along with the engineers concerned and District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini visited the BG Kotthuru village and Nagaram villages where the construction works are going on.
During the visit, she enquired about the works and expressed her displeasure over the slow pace of works. She directed the engineers concerned to take the works seriously and complete them in time.
The official also observed pump house construction works at VK Ramavaram, and Kamalapuram villages under Mulkalapally mandal. She directed the officials to install CCTV cameras at the construction site to monitor the works from office. After interacting with construction agencies, Sabharwal told the officials to complete the works in stipulated time and make everything ready for the trial run in last week of August.
Officer on Special Duty ( OSD) in Chief Minister's Office Pedda Reddy, Executive Engineer of the project Nageswara Rao, Mega and Prathima Construction agencies staff were present during Sabharwal's visit.
