The leaders and workers of Telugu Desam Party celebrated the 97th birth anniversary of party founder and late Chief Minister NT Rama Rao in the district on Tuesday.
Khammam: The leaders and workers of Telugu Desam Party celebrated the 97th birth anniversary of party founder and late Chief Minister NT Rama Rao in the district on Tuesday. As part of celebrations, party Khammam chief Vallabhaneni Gangadhar Chowdhury hoisted the party flag at the party office and garlanded the portrait of NTR. Later, they cut a cake.
The party leaders on the occasion recollected the NTR's services to the State and the society. Later, they garlanded the NTR statute in the town and offered prayers. Some of the party leaders on the day distributed milk and bread to patients at a local hospital. Party leaders K Venkateswarlu, T Sivaiah, V Venkatramaiah, T Jeevan Kumar, R Jaiker, Ch Nageswara Rao, M Appa Rao, M Bhasker Rao, Rayala Latha, Nagarjuna Srinu and others attended the programme.
